Star Wars: Darth Plagueis Mini-Excerpt #1 Sith Apprentices

I have one piece of advice for aspiring Sith Lords, choose your apprentices wisely.

STAR WARS: DARTH PLAGUEIS mini-excerpt #1 (ES):

"For the past five hundred years, the Sith of the Bane line had eschewed selecting children as apprentices, finding it more advantageous to discover beings who had already been hardened or scarred by life.
Plagueis, though, had been an exception."

  1. So was Plagueis an innocent child, or not a child at all? And 500 years, does that mean Plagueis has ruled for the past 500 years? This book needs to be here now!!!

  2. Didn't Bane himself choose a child as an apprentice?

  3. Yes, but Darth Cognus was an adult when she got chosen to follow the winner of Bane and Zannah's showdown. Cognus then chose Darth Millenial...

My guess is from Zannah to Plagueis, adults were chosen and during the last 400 years, Plagueis kept trying to raise the perfect Apprentice. Obviously, he viewed Sidious as a failure if he was trying to create life from midichlorian soup.
